Poppy Seed Muffin (Haşhaşlı Çörek)
- Cake tin
- 2 bowl
- Plastic wrap
- 2 glasses lukewarm milk
- 3/4 glasses lukewarm water
- 1 table spoon sugar
- 1 table spoon dry yeast
- 4.5 glasses flour
- 50 ml butter
- 1 tea spoon salt
- 200 gram poppy
- 2 table spoon sugar
- 3/4 glasses oil
For The Above
- 1 egg
- Secondly , Thirdly , ourth ,Fifth
- Melt thebutter in a pan and then , put the melted butter ,sugar , milk and dry yeast ina bowl and mix them.
- Add flour little by little into the mixture .Then , add the salt and start to knead.
- Cover the dough with plasticwrap and wait 40 minutes for it to ferment. For the filling ingredient , mixthe poppy , sugar and oil in a bowl.
- Divide the dough into two equalparts. And roll out each one well with the help of the wringer. Then , pour thesauce all over the dough.
- And roll thedough into a roll shape. Later , divide the roll into equal parts with the helpof a knife or you can model the dough as you want.
- Spread the butterall over the cake tin. ( You can also use a baking tray instead of a cake tin).
- Then , put the muffins in the cake tin. And wait for 10 minutes.
- And spread thewhite of an egg on the muffins. Laslty , bake in a preheated 180 degree ovenfor 30 minutes.
- You can serve it as you want.
