Sherbet is called Scherbett in German, sorbetto in Italian, sorbet in French, sorbet-sherbet in English. The thick of the yeast, which is formed by dissolving sugar in water, is called syrup, and the watery one is called sherbet. These are either plain or mixed. It is not different from sugar water that is prepared in aqueous form. It is also called sugar syrup or sugar syrup. In another definition, sherbet is the diluted form of mixed syrups that are formed with the addition of sugar from various plants, flowers, fruits, roots, bark or seeds. Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi said, “My three favorite things in life are sky, bathhouse and sherbet”. Ingredients
  

  • 2 kg pomegranate
  • 1.5 kg granulated sugar
  • 2 lemon
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 gr powdered cardamom
  • 1 litre pomegranate juice
  • 2 liters water

Instructions
 

  • The pomegranates are washed and cut in half and the seeds are removed.
  • Add pomegranate, cardamom, cinnamon and sugar to a large pot and top it add enough water to cover.
  • It is boiled on low heat until it melts.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice, add sherbet and stir.
  • take off the stove and leave to cool.
  • Finally, pomegranate juice is added and mixed.
  • Filter and cool in the refrigerator. Cold serve makes.
