Shredded Phyllo Dessert ( Kadayıf )

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gram shredded phyllo dough
  • 200 gram butter
  • 250 gram walnuts

For sherbet

  • 4 glasses of sugar
  • 4.5 glasses of water
  • 1 spoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Firstly , put 4 glasses of sugar and 4.5 glasses of water in a pot and stir and boil it.
  • Cut shredded phyllo dough with a scissors or with your hands into the small pieces and put them in a bowl
  • Put the butter in a pan and melt it and wait for 5 minutes
  • Then , pour the melted butter on the shredded phyllo dough and stir it well
  • Put 1 spoon lemon juice in the sherbet and continue to boil 5 more minutes and wait for cool down
  • Grase the baking tray with butter and put half of the shredded phyllo dough in the baking tray and press it with the help of a glass
  • Pour the walnuts on it and put the shredded phyllo dough on it and do same
  • Bake it in a preheated 200 degrees oven for 15 minutes
  • After cooking , wait for 5 minutes and pour the cold sherbet on it
  • Wait it about 45 minutes for resting and then slice and serve it
  • You can decorate on it with pistachio
